Matthew 27:17

For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, (as it is written, “A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU”) in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.

for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

1 Peter 3-5

God’s Words are powerful. And when He speaks a thing, He means it. And do you want to know something?…just one Word from the mouth of God can change everything. If you are willing to really really hear it, It can make you come to the end of yourself. It can challenge you to do things that you would never dream of doing. It can offer encouragement that you could never muster up on your own. It can shed light in the darkest of places and satisfy the deepest hunger. It can change your course of eternity.

God IS speaking…are you listening?

  1. I cherish those special moments when the Lord speaks to my heart and provides comfort, encouragement and sometimes even discipline.
I suppose what makes them special is that they are infrequent. I think of Abraham and how many years passed in between the Lord speaking to him. The rest of the time he had to rely on faith in accordance with what he knew about the Lord, that he keeps his promises, is loving, all-powerful and completely wise. Today, we are blessed to have Scripture in it’s complete form to guide us and instruct us on a daily basis.
The word Law (books of Moses) means instruction. God gave us his word to instruct us because it reveals the character of God and what he expects from us. Thanks for your post!
